Happy Halloween.

This was the only way I could get her shirt.

Daddy and Ruby at the park on his lunch break. Since mommy is out of work we take daddy lunch and play at the park.

I tried to get a picture of her eyes to show the color...but they are still a little to dark to see. Its a beautiful shade of a dark blue gray.

Everyday we take Elvis lunch and sit at the park. Today our little monster was actually awake to enjoy time with daddy. He feels bad that he has to work and doesn't get to play all day like mommy. Lets just wait and see how mommy feels when she has to go back to work in January, I'm guessing that it wont be a pretty day. I will post pictures of her in her costume tomorrow. I still haven't put her in it yet. She sleeps alot with the medication that she's on.

My baby is LONG.

We had our checkup for her ear infections today. After being on amoxicillin for 3 days Ruby is doing MUCH better. The Dr said that her ears are almost completely healed. There was just a little bit more fluid on them but they weren't inflamed. This makes mommy very happy. Now she is back to her playful self again. And just in time for Halloween.

The Ghost with the MOST!

This is Wednesdays outfit. She is the ghost with the most. I love Halloween. We were having fun, it was just Mommy and Ruby day. I think she is feeling MUCH better.

The Cutest Kitten

When I saw this hat and socks I couldn't pass it up. She is just the cutest little kitten in the world. Since its the week of Halloween I have a different outfit for her for everyday this week. This is tuesdays outfit.

Baby's 1st Cold

On Saturday my little bundle of joy was so very fussy, mommy didnt know what to do. Nothing was working we would walk outside for a while but then she would get fussy again. Later on that night her nose started sounding congested. By Sunday morning she had a full blown cold. Mommy wanted to cry her baby's first cold. So Monday morning we made an appointment to see her doctor. It turns out that Ruby has ear infections in both ears, and since shes still under 2 months old (just barley) they had to draw blood to rule out anything else. It was just not a good weekend for us. On top of all of this mommy got a cold too. Now poor daddy has to deal with his two girls being GRUMPY.

This is Ruby (on the right) and her friend Isabelle. Isabelle is my friend Kristen's daughter. Ruby is 5 days older then Isabelle. Dont they look super happy???

I was going through some of the pictures that I have stored on the computer and thought that I would update some random pictures. The one of Ruby and Pappa are from Saturday, on one of the rare moments of the day that she was not fussy.

Spiderman and His Bad HULK

Donnieay loves to hold his cousin so on Friday when he was watching the Incredible HULK for like the MILLIONTH time he wanted Ruby to watch with him. And since he is Spiderman/Peter Parker (if you ask him who he is) he now calls Ruby his Bad Hulk. If you have seen the movie you will know its the army guy who turns in to an evil hulk. She cant be the good HULK because his daddy is his good HULK. Donnieay comes up with names for everybody in the house. His Papa is Doc OC from Spiderman 2. No one is safe from getting a new name. These kids are too funny.

Fun on the Floor

This is how happy she gets after she gets a nice clean diaper. So mommy lets her play on the floor for a little bit. I love watching her smile and play.

One of my Favorite Places

Dont we look peacefull? Doing this lets mommy get some much needed sleep.

Can you tell where one of my favorite places to be is. Thats right you guessed it on my daddy's chest asleep. I dont know what it is but I love it here. We have a strong bond already...that is to say I have him wrapped around my little finger.

My little pumpkin. Grandpa Barrios said that Ruby would be on our front porch on halloween. Shes the cutest pumpkin in the world.

In the spirit of Halloween I have been dressing Ruby in festive onesies. I think shes going to love the fall just like her mommy. Cant wait til Halloween so I can see her in her costume.

First Trip to the Pumpkin Patch

On Saturday I decided to take Donnieay and Ruby to the pumpkin patch. Donnieay has never been and of course it was Rubys first time aswell. The whole experience was kinda lost on Donnieay all he wanted to do was play in the bounce house. But once we went to the land of the giants he was in awe. Running around the giant pumpkins. And then we had little Ruby who slept through the whole thing even her first picture next to a pumpkin. I couldnt resist finding the biggest pumpkin to take the picture next to.

Of course mommy had to get in on being a cheeseball.
The way Donnieay is with Ruby reminds me of how Robert and I were when we were little. These two are as close as brother and sister. Everytime I go over to my dads house and Donnieay is there he yells out "My cousin is here. Daddy my cousin is here." Or if Ruby is eating he asks "whats Ruby doing?" or "what does Ruby need." Hes always looking to help out his cousin. Hes such a big boy now. My two babies.
