Ruby and the Fish

Ruby sits on the couch and will stare at the fish tank forever. She loves to look at all the fish swimming. Every once in a while you will hear her coo and laugh. Its better then TV.

He was so funny to watch as he was shaving. He would even tap his razor on the sink to get the shaving cream off of it. I think hes been watching his daddy shave too much.

OK here we go with another Christmas post. We had a busy day and had so much fun. There was a lot of great food and good times with family. Donnieay was so fun to watch opening his presents. When he came to one he really liked he would say "NO more presents I want to play!" Next year will be so much fun with Ruby being bigger so she can open her own gifts.

Christmas eve was a busy one for me, not only did we have a fun time playing with Ruby on her first Christmas eve buy we were busy with presents and making tamales and Jerry's Christmas punch. Here are some pictures from around the house last night.

OK today is the day of MANY posts. Christmas is a busy two days for us. On Christmas eve Elvis's mom Dora and I make home made tamales. And his dad Jerry makes this Wonderfully delicious fruit filled punch. It is our Christmas eve tradition. And now Ruby gets to take part in all of it. So with this I start the many Christmas posts. Happy Birthday Grandpa Jerry!!

Today is Elvis's dad Jerry's birthday. It is a special one because it is his very first birthday as a Grandpa. To make his day just a bit more special Ruby was one of the first to say Happy Birthday. So Happy Birthday Grandpa Jerry, we love you! Enjoy your day!

Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas from our family to yours. I hope that everyone has a safe and Merry Christmas. And for the kids I hope that Santa brings lots of toys to play with.

Every year the house around the corner from us decorates their house so pretty. There is not an inch that is not covered in lights. And to top it all off Santa comes over every weekend.

I have been totally slackin off here on posting pictures. Just so much to do before Christmas, and to top it all off the carpet in our room has an inch and a half of water on it. Not too happy about that. But we are trying not to let that bring our spirits down. I cant wait until Christmas eve when we make our tamales and open presents with Elvis's family.

The Dancing Santa

We were at papas house last night and he was getting the decorations out for me to put up one of the decorations is a dancing Santa. Ruby was mesmerized. She would not take her eyes off of it.



Ruby meets the dancing Santa, she was so funny she would follow it when it moved and by the 3rd or 4Th time it played "Santa Clause is coming to town" she started kicking her foot and moving her hands along with the music. I'm jumping ahead a little but I think she likes Santa. Now we just have to take her to meet him.

We got our Christmas tree up so of course we had to take pictures of Ruby next to it. This round is with daddy because mommy was not getting in front of the camera in her jammies. Next round will go to mommy. I can not believe that in 2 1/2 weeks will be Ruby's first Christmas. Time is just flying by. I only have one more month until I have to go back to work. I'm still not convinced that I will be able to leave my baby for 8 + hours a day. I wish I was able to stay at home with her.
