Since it has been a little while since I have posted some pictures I thought that I would before I have to head in to work. Ruby is getting so big now, she is already 5 months old and as smart as can be. I must say that she laughs more with me then she does with her daddy...hehehe. She has decided that she wants some teeth so she has started to cut 2 of them. Personally I would not have rushed it...but my little one just wants to be cool like everyone else. LOL. She has the best personality always smiling and laughing. Even with her teething and not feeling all that hot she doesn't really cry or fuss that much. I am truly very lucky to have such a good baby. I just love her so very much. I go home at night after work and just want to squish her and play. Then when shes up in the morning before I leave I just want to call in sick everyday so I can play.

Here are some more pictures of yesterdays Dr appointment. We were trying to have fun while waiting for the Dr. Whenever we go there it always seems to take forever and yesterday was no different we were there for 2 hours. Then it was off to work for mom.

This is what she does with daddy when mommy is at work. She sits there in her bumbo chair and tries to get her foot. I just noticed though that she has an Eeyore slipper on one foot and a glove on the other. Shes just a tad bit mixed up.

4 Month Stats!

Today was Ruby's 4 month check up. Granted she is 41/2 months old but the Dr couldn't get her in until now. The Dr says she is one healthy baby. We get to start her on apple juice now and in 2 weeks we can start her on rice cereal in a bowl. I have been putting cereal in her bottle at night for a couple months now. Ruby is truly a Crandall at heart for she is in the 95Th percentile in her weight and length. Her head circumference is in the 75Th percentile. The Dr looked at her and asked if we were sure she is only 4 months old...the Dr then informed us that her weight and length are where an 8 month old should be. I have a big baby. So now for what you are waiting for...her stats.

Weight: 16 lbs 8 oz
Length: 27 1/4 inches
Head: 42 cm

She was fine at the Dr office until they poked her in her little legs. Then she cried for a good 15 minutes, until I gave her a bottle then she passed out in the car. Poor baby I hate to see her hurting but it is a necessary evil for her health. I will post more pictures tomorrow I left my camera with her daddy today while I was at work.

I know its been a while since I have posted anything. I have been so busy lately. With going back to work and then fighting traffic to get home before Ruby goes to sleep, then all the house work that I have to get done. I have no time to even think. But its not all work and no play. I take at least two hours before she goes to sleep every night and play with her. I cant let her forget who mommy is now can I.

Mommy's note: All my hard work has finally paid off. My bosses at work have asked me to start my training for Assistant Managers assistant. I know it sounds confusing but it is a good thing and something that I had started working on before I got pregnant and had to put on hold. I go for my first training class Feb 3-6. So one class almost down and 2 more to go, and a whole lot more reading to get done. I am hoping to have all the classes done by June at the latest so all I have to do is get my sales numbers back up to where they were before I went out on maternity and then I get promoted.

On that note I will leave you for now. I will hopefully be better about the whole posting and working thing. Just bear with me LOL.

Sorry that I have been lagging on the whole posting thing. I went back to work on Monday so I have no time to post anything. I will update pictures tomorrow for everyone to see how much my little one has changed. I have to say that going back to work was REALLY hard. I think that I would prefer to have postpartum depression then the depression that I have going back to work. With that I will be back on tomorrow to post some pictures.
