My Bunnies

When Ruby and I were at target today we found a kit to make foam bunny ears. So what did we do when we got home? Well we made a pair for her and a pair for her baby brother. Lets just say that Ruby loved them far more then Royce did. He only tolerated them for 2.5 seconds before he would start to cry. However it was long enough for me to get a couple pictures. 

Sick Babies

Yep its cold and flu season alright. Ruby came down with a case of croup and then Royce at one month got a runny nose and a cough. Since croup is communicable the Dr was watching both kids really closely, she didn't want Royce's to turn in to RSV. So here we are at the Dr for the 3rd time this week. Good news is both babies are on the mend.

1 Month Old

Royce is now a month old. Can you believe it cause I can't. He is a good nurser and is not needing to have me supplement as much as when he was first born. He is still waking up every 2-3 hours. But I think that its because he misses snuggling with me. I must say that it is completely different having a boy then it was with Ruby. I have been pee'd on (yep he got me in the face) and also pooped on :( Both something Ruby never did to me. Oh well all part of being mommy right.

Royce is two days away from being a month old and as of right now he is not a big fan of tummy time. However big sissy always makes things better.

 A sleeping baby

 Or the love of a brother and sister?

In my opinion no there is not. Ruby loves her baby brother so very much already. Sure its been an adjustment getting used to sharing me with him, but she has done an awesome job. She is my big helper. I really don't know what I would do without her help during the day when daddy is at work.

So its the day before mom has to go home. We needed to get some pictures with her so we did.

Our Beautiful Ruby

Since Royce has been born most of my time has been spent with him and I feel bad for not being able to spend as much time with Ruby as I want. Just when we start to spend time together Royce needs to be fed, changed or put back to sleep. Ruby has been an awesome sport about it but my mother guilt has kicked in. So I thought I would take some time and just take pictures of my beautiful baby girl.

Just a Nap :)

Is there any better place to nap then a laundry basket filled with nice clean fluffy laundry? I think not.
