For Ruby's birthday Grandpa Jerry re-upholstered her chair and built her an ottoman. They are both in ruby red leather and have chrome nailheads on them. It was the perfect present he could give her she loves it. Thank you Grandpa Jerry we love you!!

1 Year Well Check

Ruby after I got her ready for the Dr. She didn't want to wake up. She looks like shes a body builder flexing her muscles.

Today was Ruby's 1 year well check. Here are her stats:

Height: 33 inches

Weight: 25.1 pounds

Head: 47 cm

Of course she is off the charts on everything, and is right where she needs to be on all the learning aspects of it all. The Dr did say if she stretched out the scale that they measure them by she would be where a 22 month old should be. My baby is HUGE! lol I still love her though.

Its official as of 6:58 am yesterday Ruby is 1 year old. This year has flown by so very fast.

Ruby has 8 teeth now and getting more. So to get her used to brushing her teeth I have started her now. She loves it as long as I don't do it for her. She is so very independent its not funny.

Tonight I made home made re-fried beans, before I fried them up though I gave Miss Princess some beans to start eating. She loves them. She was standing on a chair leaning over the plate. At one point she was trying to lap them up like a puppy dog LOL. My baby is crazy. But I'm so very glad that she is not a picky eater. This baby eats EVERYTHING.

Every year on the weekend of labor day there is a HUGE car show at the OC fair grounds. Its probably one of the most awesome car shows because the cars are not just parked in the slots, they actually get to cruse around the grounds. So you can either walk around looking at the cars or just sit on your butt under a canopy and let the cars come to you. Perfect no matter who you are. We go to the show every year. This year was Ruby's first and Donnieay's second time going. We had so much fun but let me tell you it was HOT HOT HOT. So it was a day of lots of water and sunscreen!
