Fun with a Water Bottle

Lately Ruby has been trying to drink like a big girl. Whenever she sees some one drinking something she wants it. So last week papa gave her a water bottle to see what she would do with it. Well it went right to her mouth.

Today the food of the day was peas. Last week we tried carrots and Ruby ate them with gusto and today she ate the peas with just as much if not more gusto as the carrots. I love how she likes to try new things lol. I'm gonna be in trouble when she gets older.

These pictures were taken on Sunday night after I got home. Daddy was changing her diaper and thought that he would let her go commando for a while...well she peed on him after about 5 minutes and me telling him shes gonna pee if you don't put a diaper on her. You would think he would listen to me...but no.

Today marks another first for Miss Ruby. She got to eat carrots for the very first time. I must say she ate them with a lot more gusto then she ate the applesauce, and the applesauce smelled a whole lot better! I have a feeling that she will be a vegetable girl. Lets see how they settle in her system tonight. She ate 3/4 of the jar not bad for the first time.

Its days like today that I love having only one kid at this time. LOL don't get me wrong I love my nieces and nephews to pieces but...two kids under the age of 5 is a lot of work. Last night I took Donnieay home with me, he loves to come over and spend the night. He is under the impression that when hes at aunties house he has no bed time...now where ever would he get that idea???? So we play games, he plays with the dogs, and watch a couple movies. Before I had Ruby it was a lot easier to stay up late because I got to sleep in a little while longer...but now like clockwork Ruby gets up at 6:15 EVERY morning. However no matter how much sleep I don't get I wouldn't trade it for the world. Donnieay and I have a very special connection that started before he was born and has grown even bigger since. And Donnieay and Ruby have that same special connection.

It has been a while since I have posted something. Between work and traffic going home I don't really feel like sitting on a computer when I finally get home. Plus this week my little one has kept me busy taking care of her. She went to the Dr on Tuesday for what I thought was a cold and wanted to nip it in the bud...turns out to be ear infections. It came on so super fast I would have never thought that. One day she has the sniffles, the next she has a cough, the next she is in the Dr office with ear infections. Now when ever she gets a cold I'm going to be paranoid that she will get an ear infection. So here are some pictures off my phone I will post some more later.
