Elvis' Grandma came to visit us for the first time in July. It was her first time in the US and the first time meeting Elvis and his brothers. She stayed for a month and got to know us pretty well. I must say for me meeting her for the first time was special. I know it was special to Elvis too. She is truly a remarkable lady, very soft spoken and kind. I very much enjoyed meeting her and spending time with her. I hope that she is able to come for another visit in Feb. when baby boy is born.

Ruby wasn't too sure about her at first but after a while she warmed up around her...but she just wouldn't let Grandma give her a hug or kiss.

Logan's Birthday Party 10/9

Oh no hes trying to escape.

On October 9 we went to Logan's 4th birthday party. It was a costume theme. I had the most realistic costume on...I went as a pregnant lady. I know original right...but in my defense it was last minute that I decided to go, so you work with what you got right.

When all the kiddos vacated the bounce house the lucky adults who could bounce got in. I was just there to take some blackmail photos, I mean to take photos :)

23 weeks

Ok so now that I have the most up to date picture of this pregnancy up here's whats been going on. All of a sudden its like I have popped out. Where did that belly come from. If I'm this big at 23 weeks I would hate to imagine what I will look like at 40. But as long as little boy is growing and is healthy that's all that matters.

He is moving around A LOT more these days. I honestly LOVE the feeling. I really did miss that after Ruby was born. He is carrying very different from the way I carried Ruby. She was up and in my ribs and back for a lot of my pregnancy. This little boy is very very low. He uses my bladder as a trampoline, and he uses my cervix as a punching bag. Yes you have read that right I feel punches and kicks on my cervix.

Ruby still talks to my belly all the time. She even told me yesterday that I had a fat pretty belly. I'm not really craving much of anything except sandwiches. The weirdest thing I have eaten is chocolate milk and spicy dill pickles. Please don't judge me, I couldn't help myself.

19.5 Weeks

So I am 19.5 weeks pregnant with a little boy. Hes due Valentines day 2012. We cannot wait to meet our little man. As of now he still does not have a name so mommy has taken to calling him Mr. Bean. I'm feeling 100x better then I was before I had my gallbladder removed. Before that I was so very sick I lost 35 lbs in 5 months. I couldn't eat much of anything, and what I could eat would soon visit me again. However even with the weight loss the Dr said little boy was growing just fine.

Ruby is excited to become a big sister and talks to my belly everyday. When someone asks her whats in mommy's tummy she replies with "she has my baby brother in her tummy." She also thinks is funny when I get sick :-/ I don't think she would like it much if I advertised when she was sick to anyone who would listen. But oh well this is all new to her and she is only 3 so I will let it slide this time lol.

Ok so I have been HORRIBLE about updating my blog. I really will try to work on that now that I have access to my own computer. This is a crazy time in our lives and I need to get better at documenting things. So please please please forgive me.

3 Year Well Check

Today we had Ruby's 3 year well check up. She did awesome except for when they had to poke her finger for some blood. She freaked out big time. Before that she enjoyed getting her blood pressure taken, having an eye exam (she saw things that I couldn't see with my glasses).

Her 3 year stats are:

weight: 37.2 pounds

height: 41 inches

She is in the 97th percentile. She wouldn't be a Crandall if she wasn't thats for sure. Tomorrow is another Dr appt. but this time is for mommy so she will be happy to see mommy get poked instead of her.
