Daddy and mommy took Ruby on her first pony ride today. Her pony's name was Dan and she loved it once she got used to it and as long as daddy was right there.

After getting all pretty with her hair done and make-up on we took some more pictures. She was starting to be over it so it took a while to get some good ones. We did however get Ruby's first picture with the belly hahahaha.

Where did my baby girl go?

 After mommy was done curling her hair (if only my hair curled like that and stayed)

Today while I was doing my hair Ruby came in and asked me to make her pretty. To her that's normally just putting on mommy's perfume, but today I gave her a couple of extra special treats. I curled her hair and put on some eye shadow. Now she has only let me curl her hair maybe once or twice before and has only had make-up (put on by me) once before, so this was special. 
She sat there while I curled her hair and  pinned back her bangs that are still in the awkward growing out stage, and then let me put the eye shadow on. We finished up getting her pretty with a couple sprays of mommy's cool water perfume. And yes I realize she looks WAY older then 3 hence the question where did my baby girl go?

 She kept laughing while we were playing and every time she laughed she leaned into the camera. I just happened to snap this pic when she did. When I showed her she got scared because her head was too big.

While daddy was at Monster Jam it was Mommy and Ruby time. We played "sword" fights with a princess wand and a butterfly wand. Of course she got the heavier princess wand and mommy gets the flimsy butterfly wand. We were both cracking up so much that I don't think we actually had a sword fight but it was so much fun trying LOL. As much as I can't wait for this little boy to come out and meet us, I am enjoying these last few days of just being Ruby's mommy.

Daddy came home for lunch like he does everyday, today Ruby was playing with a pen she wasn't supposed to and daddy caught her so he asked her nicely to give him the pen...she of course refused (wouldn't be our kid if she didn't). When she started crying for no reason daddy took the pen from her. Well she just wasn't having that so she hides under her blanket crying, daddy picked her up and was sitting with her for 5 minutes before she would come out from under that darn blanket. When she finally came out daddy gave her one of her markers to draw with and they started drawing together until he had to go back to work. Got to love how everything to a 3 year old is the end of the world.

We decided that since New York steaks were on sale at the store we should get some and have a BBQ. They were so very YUMMY, and such a good treat.
