Royce's first week went by so fast. We went home when he was 2 days old and just hung out at home. Only time we left was to take Royce to the Dr's office to have his jaundice levels checked. Thankfully they came back normal, but his thyroid levels came back slightly elevated. Normal is 29 his were 31 so at 4 days old I had to take my baby to the lab and have blood drawn to recheck his levels. They came back at a 27 so for now he is as perfect as can be. Of course with our outing and even staying home I have my wonderful little helper Ruby. She is such a great helper, she gets me his diapers, even throws the dirty ones away. She has offered to feed him, but since I'm nursing him that wouldn't work too well.
